Some people believe that a person’s future can be planned and executed. But some others hold the view that life is so unpredictable that planning one’s future would not work as we expect. Discuss both the views and say what you feel about the unpredictability of life. Introduction There are differing views on future. Some say, it can be organized and carried out while others hold onto the uncertainty of life and believe that the plans for future may not work out. Let me discuss these two views. second paragraph It is a fact that planning life has been a practice for ages, and many have been successful too. The primary thing is that there are certain things that can be planned. For example, if a child wishes to become an aeronautical engineer, certainly, his parents can guide him in such a way and he would turn out to be one. Great many people have become what they have wanted themselves to be by meticulous planning. Clearing tough exams that take people to high profile jobs, becoming famous or whatever is, to an extent, possible. third paragraph This possibility notwithstanding, there is always room for the unknown, and many people may fail to execute their future plans. The rationale of it may be that we do not know what is in store for us, either good or bad. As they say, man may just propose. Besides, there are people who have become someone out of sheer luck. Similar is the case with those who happen to wake up to a cursed day that would change their life upside down. Diagnosing a severe disease condition is enough to sabotage our plans. Conclusion Discussing both the views, I am inclined to believe that the unpredictability element is there in the lives of all. Those who plan their future and those who do not are part of it. Sometimes, the very same advocates of unpredictability themselves may be able to enjoy great future out of no planning at all; unpredictably.
