Two questions

Some people believe that change is the order of the day, and there is no wonder food and dress culture/s change over time. But there are some others who take it the other way round. What would be the arguements for both the views? Some governments set aside sizeable amount of money to safeguard the cultural and traditional values of the people. Some say it is a waste of exercise, while others say it is worth spending. Which view do you support and state why?

Environmentally speaking, keeping a week day closed every week would do great favours for the planet. but business-wise, it may not be that attractive. What are advantages of a four day week in terms of environment? What are business implications of such an office order?

Four day week and its ins and outs

Some people believe that four-day-week with longer working hours would make employees enjoy life and, as a result, perform better when they are at work. But there are people who think that fewer working days would do more harm than good. Essay 003 • Look at both the views and express your opinion on them. Does four-day week make people put in more? Opinions differ of course. But not many would oppose the idea that more free time lets employees enjoy a lot of family time. What I feel is that humans, being basically lazy, may take it as an opportunity to be complacent. First of all, let me see how employees are going to take four-day week concept. Four working days and three holidays a week would look really great because there is enough room for family time, professional, personal and social times. This makes employees enjoy greater work life balance. This will of course pay them great dividends. This improved working environment may make some employees put in more and contribute better in terms of service. This extra energy may take the production graph scale new highs. But, from an employer’s point of view, there is a little concern because paying for seven days and getting three days’ service back may not make great business sense. However rejuvenated an employee may return to work after three days’ break, he or she may take a day to get over the holiday blues. This would leave the employer with only three days a week, with the third day being a weekender. Coupled with this is humans’ inherent nature of being lazy. So, four-day week may not do much good. Lesser working days make people lazier. The above findings on four-day week make it clear that less number of working days is likely to do more harm than good. So, it is right to say that keeping employees engaged is much better than letting them free for longer days. 270 words Ajaypeesdoc 21.11.2012

The essay is written halfway through. try to complete it all by yourselves. The whole world is concerned much about how long man is going to be living life sustainably, but there is a view that not much is said about how long man is going to keep the Planet sustaining. • What do you think are the elements of sustainable human life? • Suggest your own ways to keep the Planet sustaining? ‘Sustainability’ is the most talked about idea across the world. But mostly it is about sustainable human life. This essay is going to identify the instruments of such a human life and also make a few recommendations to keep the Planet going on and on. The most striking element of sustainable human life is the resource security. What I mean is that man all the ages to come need to have what is needed to keep his going. Second thing is that the place he lives in, no matter where it actually is, needs to be worthy of human life. For example, a hostile atmospheric or climatic condition is not going to keep man comfortable. Thirdly, it is right to add that the expansion of human population in the days to come needs to be up-to the expectations or the limitations of the Planet.

Sustainability of humans and the planet

For example, a hostile atmospheric or climatic condition is not going to keep man comfortable. Thirdly, it is right to add that the expansion of human population in the days to come needs to be up-to the expectations or the limitations of the Planet. When it comes to keeping the Planet going on for all the ages to come, my first recommendation is to maintain ecological balance; to be precise there should not be ecological overshoot. For example, man should give the planet the time to produce what is already taken. My second idea is to let the Planet breathe easy by being free from unbearable pollution and exhausts. Thirdly, the Planet needs to be kept blanketed with much more green expanses. This would make the Planet balance its ecosystem: man, water, air, wild life and natural wealth. My conclusion is the is no sustainability for man sans the same for the place he is in. so sustainability is a blend of a set of elements, and these elements are dependent on how man behaves with the Planet. The suggestions I have made here are examples of that behaviour. 280 words Ajaypeesdoc. 8.12.13 www.jpsukham.blogspot.com
