Child abuse can be defined as any action which happens inside or outside the house that harms the physical, psychological and emotional well being of children. This happens due to many factors, but most of the time it is poor standard of living that causes the lion’s share of child abuse cases reported from third nations. Poor socio economic conditions make parents send their kids for labour, like child labour, and they in turn get abused. They are deprived of education too. Poor living conditions make them go without enough food, clothing and medical care. They suffer from malnutrition, physical assaults and finally, what happens is children become vulnerable in the family too. Their ignorance about their rights and privileges worsen their plight. 110.
However, this situation can be reversed in many ways. Primarily, there needs to be efforts from the richer sections of the society to provide support for the poor ones. Secondly, governments should identify poor families and arrange for their basic necessities. Thirdly, if schools provide mid-day meals and free study aids, more and more kids will go to school. When they get educated, they themselves will strive hard to cut down on child abuse. And finally, there needs to be strict laws to book those ones who promote child labour, an area where children get abused maximum. 90 words
