1. When all the rich, a very small minority, happen to hold the whole wealth of the world and go living luxuriously, a huge majority is in abject penury and paltry living condition.

This disparity does not show any sign of reduction all the unprecedented growth and human development for decades notwithstanding.

· How is this situation getting reflected in your immediate society?



2. Though child labour is taken as a social evil in all societies, the number of children who get involved in this heinous practice is on the rise.

· Look at the causes and effects of this social evil.


3. Conservation of wild animals and maintaining of their habitat are claiming a sizeable amount of money from the exchequer every year. But it is argued that wild-life as such does not contribute much in accordance with the size of money it takes ever year.

· How do you look at this argument?

4. Though access to information is giving people great strength, a great majority feel that gathering information and having not much opportunities to use the same is as good as not having access to information at all.

· How far is belief acceptable to you?
· If not, how worthwhile it is to have access to all information?

5. With the emerging trends in the employment environment, the younger generation is found to be going after tailor-made academic and technical qualifications and fetching hobs. They, in turn, turn away from conventional academic qualifications.

· How is this situation going to affect the society in general?
· Do you think it is important to pursue conventional qualifications?
