Today, many people are of the opinion that several anomalies and evils which are prevalent in a given society can be reduced by inducting women in powerful offices. Looking at the idea objectively, I find it right not to agree with this. I have a host of reasons to believe so. It is a fact that many antisocial activities are there in all societies and their number is on the rise every passing day. It is mainly because of the attitude of the individuals. Nowadays, people change their attitude, mind, and values much more frequently than ever. They live for their own sake devoid of their human values. In addition, people give more importance to money and prestigious positions in the society. As a result, people are forced to adopt various illegal activities in order to achieve their goals, which ultimately results in an unequal society. These practices cannot be stopped by increasing the presence of women in power. It is true to say that, by encouraging females’ influence in our constitution can definitely reduce certain vulnerable activities towards women. For example, increasing the female power in police force definitely will reduces unhealthy activities against females. Hence, they can safeguard women’s life and prestige. On the other hand, female leaders do not always value their position. Many recent surveys have shows that female officers are the master-minds of certain illegal activities in any society. So, it is not safe to depend on women professionals. From the above mentioned points, it can be concluded that, in order to protect our society from social evils, both government and individuals should take active measures in a concerted manner.
