Vote share of CPI, CPI-M and INC
The line graph presents data on the share of votes three major political parties, CPI, CPI-M and INC, had in the elections held between 1977 and 2004.
In 1977, CPI had 10.38 votes, but it came down to 6.52 in the following election. It came still down to 6.21 in 1989. In the following elections till 2004 the party’s share of votes stood between 8.12 and 7.89.
If we compare these figures with that of CPI-M, it had nearly two times more votes in 1977, 20.33, but in the following year, it recorded a low, taking it to 19.09. The following elections recorded a higher percentage, elevating it to 22.27 and 22.28 in 1984 and 1989. In the following three elections, the percentages hovered between 20.72 and 21.00. It recorded a huge increase in 1999 and 2004, taking it to 31.51.
When it comes to INC, it had 29.13% votes in 1977. In the following election, it suffered nearly 3% drop. Two elections followed recorded its all time high percentage, 41.71. In the elections of 1991,1996 1998 and 1999, its percentage remained between 38.78 and 39.35. But in 2004 it had a steep fall, from 39.35 to 32.11, the biggest fall ever.

It is generally accepted that running a nation is a serious business, and there is controversy on whether it should be done by young leaders or it is the job of senior leaders. I for one am of opinion that it should be done by the young. 45 words
There are points to establish the fact that it is a good idea to give the reins of the nation to the hands of young leaders. The primary argument is that young leaders have great vision and spirit to take the nation forward. Secondly, these leaders will take great pride in their being what they are, and they would do their best to the welfare of the nation. The pie graph presents data on what men and women buy for each other on Valentine ’s Day in the US.It is obvious that among the items men buy for women, the things come under the category called ‘Other’ constitute 25%, followed by cards, 18%. The third most important gift item among men is flowers, 16% and it is followed by candy constituting 14%. When jewelry takes the fifth position with 10%, all other items like lingerie, spa/personal care and perfume/cologne share 7%, 6% and 4% respectively.
If we compare these figures with what women buy for their loved ones, card is the most popular gift among women; 27% followed by candy taking 21% whereas the third most item is ‘other’ 17%. When flowers claim 11%, perfume and cologne take 10 followed by jewelry with 9%. The least popular item is spa and personal care with 1%.

What are the disadvantages of early career selection?
Do you think it is advantageous to wait for years for a dream job?
Selecting the right career is highly challenging these days compared to the past, but it is easier to find a job today as there are so many opportunities. Though early career selection has some disadvantages, waiting long for a dream job is no good idea. 45 words
The primary disadvantage is that it forces the individual to quit his studies and encourages him to put in all his efforts to his career. This leads to huge shortage in highly qualified people in the society. Secondly, it makes individuals workaholics making them suffer from occupational hazards much early in their life. Thirdly, when youngsters become financially independent, they fail to manage their quick income, and they even pick up bad habits and tendencies. Some of them even break away from their bonds and go hyper independent. This is no good. 90 words
However, waiting for a dream job for ages is no good either, because world is marching much faster and the need for keeping pace with the developments is more important today than it was in the past. Besides this, waiting does not many one any better, instead if one is able to do something right after one’s education, he or she can pick up different professional skills. And finally, people may spoil their most productive years for a dream job. Why not work and do something towards realizing one’s dream job? It is good. 90 words

It is a fact that everybody gets 24 hours a day, but majority of the people complain of
what social scientists call ‘Time Poverty’.· Why is this complaint very common today, compared to the past?· Make your own suggestions to overcome time poverty.
There is no argument against the fact that time is precious. But these days, people complain that they run short of time. This was not so in the past. There are many factors that lead to time poverty, and it could be tackled by taking some wise measures. 45 words
The major factors may range from poor management to laziness and ignorance. First of all, many people do not know how to manage their time. They simply waste time and complain of time poverty. Secondly, compared to the past, many people are engaged in much more activities than what they are able to handle. This is because of the pressures of modern life. Thirdly, people take time in terms of money. This never ending need for money and material greed, make people take up responsibilities far beyond their limits of endurance. Result is what social scientists call time poverty. 90 words
This can be overcome in many ways. First of all, people should know what prioritizing is. They should distribute time according to the seriousness of the issue. For example, a thing that needs immediate attention needs to be done first. Secondly, there should be pre-planning. That is, one should anticipate what is in store, so that one could allocate time accordingly. A third option could be the art of saying ‘no’. Some people take up all impossible jobs and finally they end in time poverty. Finally, it is a good idea to maintain Work Life Balance. 90 words
To conclude, it is right to put that time poverty is manmade. And it is man’s helplessness to manage time that makes him suffer from it. Wiser management techniques will help a person lead a balanced life with enough time for everything; work, life, leisure and the like. 45 words
