Valentine’s day gifts among men and women.
The pie graph presents data on what men and women buy for each other on Valentine ’s Day in the US.It is obvious that among the items men buy for women, the things come under the category called ‘Other’ constitute 25%, followed by cards, 18%. The third most important gift item among men is flowers, 16% and it is followed by candy constituting 14%. When jewelry takes the fifth position with 10%, all other items like lingerie, spa/personal care and perfume/cologne share 7%, 6% and 4% respectively.
If we compare these figures with what women buy for their loved ones, card is the most popular gift among women; 27% followed by candy taking 21% whereas the third most item is ‘other’ 17%. When flowers claim 11%, perfume and cologne take 10 followed by jewelry with 9%. The least popular item is spa and personal care with 1%.
It is clear that card is the most popular gift women buy for men whereas things under ‘other’ are the most popular ones among men.
