The table here shows how three IT majors - Wipro, Microsoft and IBM - look at qualifications and experience of an entry level job aspirant and the annual salary they offer.

To begin with, Wipro is the only company recruiting candidates with any degree and no experience. It offers on the job training instead. But the annual salary offered is the least compared to other companies, 2-3 hundred thousand Indian rupees. When it comes to Microsoft, the qualification parameters differ greatly. It is open only for science degrees with computer diploma. Besides, the experience requirement is two years. Obviously, there is marked difference in annual pay, 3-4 hundred thousands.

Finally, coming to IBM, it is all in superlatives. It seems to be very particular about qualifications. Here entry level jobs are strictly meant for IT engineering degree holders and the experience required is three years. Needless to say, IBM offers the best remuneration package, 5-6 hundred thousands. It is two times more than what Wipro offers.

Over all, it is right to infer that there is close relation between qualification and experience required and the salary offered by different companies.
