Some
say that if the jail term a convict is awarded is equal or less than the time s/he
had spent behind bars between conviction and real trial, s/he should be freed
right-way, while others say the court verdict is to be carried out as it is, no
matter how much time one had been an under-trial – under-trial is a convict who awaits court hearing to prove his position,
guilty or not guilty.
