The bar chart breaks up the findings of a survey conducted on two different age groups- 18-30 and 45-60 – to find out factors that make their working environment pleasant.

These factors can be divided into external and internal factors. The internal factors are team spirit, competent boss, respect from colleagues and job satisfaction. The external factors are chance for personal development, job security, promotional prospects and money.

On the internal factors, above 50% in each age groups agreed that team spirit, competent boss and job satisfaction are essential for making their environment pleasant, whereas on the external factors, there are contrasting findings. Secondly, many female employees are reported to be suffering from aggression on their person either directly or impersonally. This harassing is too much for many women. Thirdly, unlike the women of the past, today’s young female professional segment is as aggressive and ambitious as their male counterparts. Therefore, when they come to know that there is not much to be expected from an organization, they simply go practical, and hop out for fresher avenues.

However, let me suggest a few ways to make women stay back for longer years. First thing is that men should realize that women are not second employees, and they deserve what ever males do. It is open only for science degrees with computer diploma. Besides, the experience requirement is two years. Obviously, there is marked difference in annual pay, 3-4 hundred thousands.

Finally, coming to IBM, it is all in superlatives. It seems to be very particular about qualifications. Here entry level jobs are strictly meant for IT engineering degree holders and the experience required is three years. Needless to say, IBM offers the best remuneration package, 5-6 hundred thousands. It is two times more than what Wipro offers.

Over all, it is right to infer that there is close relation between qualification and experience required and the salary offered by different companies.

This bar graph is on appreciation and depreciation in house prices in five different cities between 1990 and 2002 and the same is compared with 1989 average.

Let us see the figures between the years 1990-995. It is very much obvious that New York (USA), Tokyo (Japan) and London (UK) experienced remarkable depreciation during this period. The figures show that New York had a fall by five percent, and the other two cities had almost same pattern say, by eight percent. On the contrary, coming to Madrid (Spain) and Frankfurt, there was slight appreciation by two and three percent respectively.

A further look at the findings of 1996-2002 shows that, except Tokyo, all four cities went for remarkable hike in house prices. When prices of New York and Madrid were spiralling up by five and four percent respectively, London came to experience the highest rise recording almost 12% which is more than two to three times compared with the figures of New York and Madrid.

In general production and consumption shows an upward trend. In 1950, there was a slight difference, and in the following years, there felt an upward spiral. The figures stood between 25 and 40 units, but in 1975, production touched almost 60 units and consumption stood slightly above the same; the increase is above two-fold.

But, over the years, say between1975-2000, production stood below 60 units, but demand went far above 80, and the difference was offset by imports. Yes, well, many teachers have taught me
Over my academic years, and there are male and female
Among them, a like a teacher much more than anyone else.

Actually, he was teaching me mathematics
While I was studying for my tenth standard.
His name was, or I would say, his name is

He is from my place itself,
and I like him very much for many things
Firstly, he was an excellent teacher.

for all these thing was very limited

for pursuing his research.

That moment made me extremely happy because

As cities are increasingly becoming centers of opportunities, rural urban migration happens on a daily basis. This movement leaves people of different makes and potentials in different living conditions; some in smaller family units.

The lures of cities have always been a driving force for people to think of moving out of their village homes. As a matter of fact, people who are skilled and confident will surely get enormous opportunities in cities. Obviously, they will make great differences in their life. For example, they can make a lot of money and their living standards will go higher. Naturally, their children will get better education and related conveniences. This will make the second generation more productive. Therefore, it is right for many to be living in smaller setups with better conveniences.

On the other hand, when great many people, who have been living in spacious and quiet living conditions, happen to be in congested cities, they are likely to face problems. Unless these people are prepared to make the best out of the cities, they will get themselves exposed to innumerable difficulties. For example, the pangs of parting, loss of family values, absence of moral support and regular income, poor living conditions, to mention a few, will put them in abject poverty, insecurity and hopelessness. This is a problem not only for them, but this will put cities under great pressures; the pressures of the displaced.

In short, transition from spacious rural to smaller urban families is a natural development. For some, it is a great possibility, but for some others it is a problem.
