Oceans around the world are increasingly being threatened by human intervention, and this has greater impact on societies world over.
In what all ways do oceans get threatened
?What impact does this threat have on human life?


With the emergence of technological advancements, developments have been taking place in the areas of industry and transportation. They not only contribute lots of benefits, but also create so many problems like pollutions of land and ocean. Nowadays, as result, oceans are threatened by different human industrial. This has many ramifications on human life. 50 words

There a re innumerable reasons for this threat. The first and foremost is pollution resulting from industries, farming, and water transpirations. For example, industries dump their effluents into the see directly and chemical and pesticide wash off from farm sector through canals and rivers, into the oceans. Also domestic wastes and discharge and exhaust from marine transpiration play a major role in polluting the oceans. Besides, these, experiments like nuclear tests and military exercises affect the aquatic life significantly. Certainly majority of human activities threaten the oceans in someway. 85 words

Obviously, all these factors affect the ecological balance, because the effects of water pollution are long lasting. Many nations depend on the oceans for drinking water, food and employment. If pollution rate exceeds a particular limit, it will cause the disappearance of fishes which in turn affects food industry, and may result in loss of employment in associated sectors especially in fisheries. All these factors affect the economy of many countries. 70 words

To conclude, the above factors make it clear that human activities are responsible for the threats faced by oceans world over. It is high time we took necessary measures to control it, and it is the responsibility of all nations to protect the oceans for the sustenance of life on the planet. 50 words
