While planning urban landscapes, the planners, it is
recommended, need to consult the existing urban population for their inputs. This
view, however, is not endorsed by all saying that planning a city is the job of
the planners and any such consultation will spoil the right planning.
How good or bad is it to
consult the existing urban population before going for any urban planning?
