Some people say that right schooling is enough to make a child grow into a good human being whereas there is another view that it is right parenting that makes it possible.

Discuss both the views and put in your opinion?

Raising child into a good human being involves a lot many things. Among them right parenting is one and school is another. Though right parenting is of some significance, I feel that it is right schooling that holds the sway a little more.

Let me find out what schooling can do in this respect. Firstly, school is a system with so many possibilities for a child to grow into what he or she actually is. For example, teachers are able to mould children by identifying their hidden strengths, and the same strength may later make the child what s/he actually is in this world for.

Secondly, since children spend a sizeable amount of their time with teachers and a community of boys and girls from different faiths, statuses and family values - there is great possibility for a child to undergo a transformation into a good human being. Teachers are a great force to reckon with.

All the influence of right schooling notwithstanding, if parents are good human beings with right attitude towards their children and their life, parents can work wonders in this connection. For example, if parents are virtuous and of great values, their children are bound to become good human beings. However, the fact remains that it is right schooling that helps parents materialize their efforts. It is a process organized by parents and rightly executed by schooling.

“It takes a village to raise a child” so goes the adage. That means raising children into real human beings involves several factors. Among them, the prominent ones are right schooling and parenting. Parents and schooling are just two parts of any village.
