Energy cycle and how it works. pictogram

The pictorial representation of the diagram explains how energy from the sun is trapped by green house gases.

Initially, the Earth absorbs energy from the Sun in the form of sunlight. A few amount of energy is absorbed by land and river to make the earth warm. Besides, the rest of energy travels back in to the space. Moreover, some heat energy   directly goes to atmosphere from the Sun. But, a little energy is blocked by green house gases before it reaches the outer space.

Consequently, the quantity of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere would increase. Furthermore, the burning of fossil fuels such as coal, wood, and oil in the factories also produces excessive amount of carbon dioxide in to the air. Obliviously, human activities like deforestation and excessive expulsion of fumes from vehicles also enhance the green house gases’ effect by generating large amount of carbon dioxide. As a result, the whole planet becomes warmer that would create adverse effect in the Earth.

This is how energy from the sun gets cycled.
