The line
graph compares American’s average expenses on mobile phones and land line
services from 2001 and 2010. It is in Dollars.
The most
significant feature is that expenditure on cell phone increased whereas, that of residential line services
declined those 10 years period.
It can be
clearly seen that, in 2001, the expense on mobile phone was nearly 200, and
then, its rate went up to 300 in the year followed. Subsequent to this, there was a slight decline in the year 2003. However,
the spending on cell phone steadily
escalated throughout the years and reached to its peak level (750) in 2010. However,
the amount of money spent on land line services was 700 in 2001, and then,
there was a downward trend in its usage and finally reached t about 450 in 2010
Interestingly,
people spared same amount of money on
both mobile and land line services in 2006;
that was 550.
