Some artists dedicate their
whole life for their creed while some others spend their time in a choosy
manner so as to get enough time for art and other personal priorities too. Some
say the former approach to art is much more rewarding than the latter.
Do
you think so? Or is it a better idea to pursue art along with life?
Pursuing an art calls for a
lot of time, energy and enthusiasm, and it is very much worth it to live a life
fully for art, and it is much more rewarding than any other pursuit of life. However,
trying to have both the worlds is not bad either.
In any culture, art and
artistes have always been given a high pedestal, and people in general have
great regard for anyone who excels in some form of arts. Obviously, art is not
cut for everyone, and artistes are believed to have had the signature of God in
their hands and thoughts.
Naturally, artists like
painters, danseuse, musicians, sculptures and other creative souls, in the
course of time, happen to represent the place they belong to, their worlds get
heeded, their deeds are imitated and their thoughts and production are
showcased as the symbols of culture making them the ambassadors of culture. Actually,
those who dedicate their whole life, eventually, go on living as long as
mankind lives in this world. They become immortals.
This perennial significance
of art and artists notwithstanding, it is not significant either to be enjoying
life and engaging in one’s favourite
field of art. For example, some arts do not want one to be fulltime; rather
there is freedom to pursue it along with other beauties one’s life may offer.
The ultimate purpose of life is to live it the way one wants to live. In that
respect, it makes greater sense to be finding time selectively so that one can
enjoy both the worlds; of art and life.
The point is pursuing any
art-form is a great thing in anyone’s life, and serious artists may live just
for the sake of art, but, since life is to be lived too, going for life and
one’s likes in art is much more worth it, I believe.
