Five questions:

Some humanists are of the opinion that government servants may be asked to offer some voluntarily service/s periodically to their immediate communities as the former are much better off than the rest in terms of earning and wellbeing.

• Do you think such a social order has some relevance in your immediate society?
• See how feasible is such a concept in today’s world order.

Voluntary contributions, in terms of time, money and energy, to one’s immediate society are very much part of all civilized social setups. But this humane gesture is getting extinct throughout the world due to many factors.

• Try to find out some of those factors.
• See how this development is going to impact human life in general.

In some countries, the unemployed youth, who have got the right attitude, are encouraged to take up voluntarily services to their community so that they would get themselves better placed once they get into some paid job.

When it comes to recruiting new staff, some premier employers give more importance to job aspirants who have got some experience in voluntary service to their community than those who have got experience in their respective fields.
