• What are the factors that promote this trend?
• What advantages does the society enjoy out of this?
It is a fact that selection of a profession is a personal choice. It does not depend upon one’s gender but the attitude of a person. Today, people are able to do any job without any discrimination on the basis of gender. 40 words
There are lots of opportunities in this globalized world. So people can select their profession according to their interests. In the past some professions were gender centric. For example, mainly female were attracted to nursing. But today the situation has changed. Now, males are also going for nursing. It offers national and international job opportunities. 65 words
Another thing is the need for a job is very important now. Financial pressures of today’s hectic world force people to do any work and they are willing to do any job. In almost all fields, women are working like men and vice versa. Today society also gives equal importance to women. Now women too do the same job once men did, and they earn for family like men do. Society also accepts it. 70 words
When it comes to the advantages, society enjoys many. Manpower is the most important wealth of the country. So, when males and females work equally, it improves the standard of living and the country’s wealth. So people can lead better lives. Poverty can also be eliminated from the society. This attitudinal change helps both the genders contribute their shares to the society so as to improve its standard of living. 70 words
Therefore, it can be concluded that humanity includes both the males and females, and talents and intelligence are not gender sensitive. Both can give their own contributions towards the betterment of the society. So gender parity in professions is good. 40 words
