Ten questions on one topic called consumerism

Due to the increasing popularity of consumerism, the third world societies
around the world are facing a lot of social-economic and environmental problems.

What are the factors that promote consumerism?
What do you think are the problems they face?
Do you think consumer goods manufactures are accountable for this?
Is it appropriate to claim damage from consumer goods manufacturers?
What are the social and environmental problems they face?
Why is consumerism more popular today than it was yesterday?
Who does consumerism benefit the economy of a state?
Make a few suggestions to make consumerism people and environment-friendly.
Do you think modern societies can anyway be free from consumerism and its effects?
As an educated individual what can you do to discourage consumerism?

Take any two from the above ten questions and write an essay of 250 words. You may use examples to prove your point. You are not supposed to copy anything from the topie issue, but you have to rephrase them if you want.
