Write a letter to the local council requesting action: you may address like; Sir,

Sir,
Dateline……………..
I am a resident of Princevile area, and I have been staying here for the last 25 years. I am writing this to bring to your notice a pestering problem being faced by the residents of this area.

Recently, we find that the adolescent population of this place is showing signs of drug addiction. This is due to the constant presence of some suspicious people who, we doubt, are drug peddlers. There are some other elements who push in liquor products too among youngsters.

This problem itself is alarming. But, to cap it all, now there are instances in which these youngsters happen to engage in asocial activities. These developments leave our residential area a little bit disturbed.

Therefore, as a resident, I am forced to approach you seeking help. Please look into this issue and, in the meanwhile, kindly arrange to post a few patrol personnel in this area in the evenings.

I look forward to seeing this problem solved. 156 words

Sir
Dateline……………..

Let me introduce myself. My name is Clement Lee, and I and my family had a chance to appreciate the tour programmes organized by you a couple of weeks ago.

The purpose of this letter is to appreciate the exceptionally professional service we received from your tour Guide one Mr. Radison Ruth. Let me tell you staffs like Radison are real asset to any organization.

We were nearly fifty people in the tour team, and this gentleman kept us comfortable all through the trip and we all found his knowledge about the spots we visited. The patience, the language and above all his mind to look into minor details of every request from all these fifty people are worth recording and appreciated. Therefore, I take this space to thank him for his service, and reiterate our loyalty to your Tour Company.

Thank you for making our trip interesting. You may put in a word or two to Mr. Radison in this regard which, I am sure, will keep him do better for tourists like us and for your Company as well.

3. Your cell phone keeps receiving cold calls and messages sent by your cell phone service provider, and this inconveniences you greatly. You have repeatedly asked the company to stop this.

Write a letter to the consumer forum asking for action against the telephone service provider. Please note that there is a court ruling, in favour of consumers, against cold calls.

Sir,

I would like to invite your attention to a pestering problem I have been suffering from my cell phone operator CALLNOW.

I have been a subscriber to this cell phone company for long and, these days, I happen to receive a lot of cold calls and messages sent by the company itself promoting their products and services. These unsolicited calls and alerts inconvenience me, especially when I go driving and biking.

I have written to the company many times regarding this, but they are not ready to take any action. So I am encouraged to approach you as I understand that there is a court ruling that protects cell phone consumers from cold calls, and legal action can be taken against operators who violate consumers’ rights.

Please look into this case, and see that justice is done. For your information, I attach details of my cell phone and copies of two complaints I had sent to the cell phone company. 160 words

Dear Richard Clowe

This urgent email comes to with an unpleasant message. You all know that I am expected to be around you this weekend. That was the plan as per our last discussion, and you all know that I have done everything for my trip.

I regret to tell you that my father fell ill so unexpectedly and his doctors say he needs to be in the critical care unit for a couple of weeks. I am saddened to know of my father’s condition and, needless to say, I have pushed my travel date up for a few weeks. The exact date will follow.

I am very much conscious that my absence is going to make undue inconveniences to you and your team. Please understand that I am in a fix. So I request you to extent our meetings for say, in the first week of next month. In the meantime, let me keep you informed. You may keep my father in your prayers.

5. Imagine that you are a parent who has a child of say 10 years old. Of late, you find that your child comes with huge loads of homework, and this leaves the child’s normal life in disarray.

Write a letter to the headmaster of the school requesting him to see what is happening in terms of teaching and homework.

Sir

I am writing this letter to you to inform you of something disturbing with regard to my child Rosh Ely, a fifth grade student at your school, and requesting you look into an issue which I believe you are not aware of.

Of late my son comes with homework far beyond his endurance, and I understand that this academic pressure puts my child in difficulties like sleeplessness, irregular food habits and restlessness and worries. He looks a little short tempered too. Needless to say, it disturbs me too.

When my son was in lower grades, especially last year, he did not get any trouble with homework: rather I found him doing his work with great pleasure.

Now when I sit with my child, he tells me that he has a few new teachers now who are fresher recruits and they keep on giving homework, and their classes are not encouraging either. This I think is a serious issue which needs your special attention.

Requesting you to look into the issue,

Sincerely

Ely Dan Braun
