Many people believe that money as such has become so important that it is great and better to have more money than anything else.

• What do you think are the reasons for the rising significance of money today?

Being educated is taken by most people as a blessing because education makes great differences in people’s lives. But there are some who feel that being educated does not matter much in a world where there is acute unemployment, poverty and similar social evils.

In the past education was primarily to make people refined and knowledgeable, but today it (education) is expected to invite great returns in the shortest possible time.
