The table contains data on the sales of passenger cars recorded in the first three quarters of the year 2010. The figures are given in thousands units per month, and the car brands are Ford, Nissan and Toyota.
Toyota sold 4000 cars in January. Within a month sales went past 14000 units recording more than three times increase. But it was not able to keep the same tempo in the following months and the figure slowly moved up to 16000 at the end of the second quarter. That was its all time high sales, making a four fold increase. But what followed was a huge nose dive which took sales down to 8000 units, recording a fall by 50%. There was a recovery in the third quarter and sales moved back to 12000 units. It was a rise by 50%.
