Libin from Ireland writes on how Internet acts on newspaper

The rising numbers of IT enabled services especially in the field of social media are (not is, numbers are ) a great asset across the world today. I tend to believe that the expanding numbers and the wider use of social media have definitely decreased the popularity of newspaper (newspaper is a word not two words).

It is right to say that the increasing numbers of social media has been involving considerably in today’s life for accessing news. As consumption of the Internet is widespread across the world today, accessing it ( use pronouns to avoid repetition) is not a big deal even for an ordinary person. Social media provide greater opportunities to upload their own personal status and impression on a thing and spread news. Taking news far and wide ( the word spread is used once) through social media is extremely faster and convenient. Facebook, Twitter and the like are a couple of (not some) examples. There is no panic whether the news is right, because news is being generated from a particular area and more than one person will upload the same news. Therefore, most of the contents (not majority) of content would be similar so that t is easy to find out the authenticity of any media information.

On the other side, the popularity of press is getting faded (do not write due to many reasons) due to many factors. As part of increasing their circulation, they exaggerate the news and keep trying to protect socially renowned people even though they are found guilty. Besides that, the processing of news is also a bit complicated in the press as all news since morning will be piled up and processed at the end of the day. Certainly, it needs a proportionate amount of time for printing which, obviously, is dispensed in the early morning. People who tend to read the news need to wait until it arrives and they read the news at least 12 hours later. Furthermore, readers would not get enough idea at a glance from the headlines as the content will be illustrated in the following article. It is time consuming.

From the above mentioned point, it can be concluded that one of the best channels for accessing right news is social media. As the popularity of social media is going upward, naturally, a downward spiral in the subscription rates of newspaper is quite evident.
