The line graph compares the
Americans average expenses on mobile phone and landline services over a period
of 10 years from 2001 to 2010.
It is evident from the graph
that rapid growth happened in the
expenditure on cellphone whereas, the expenses on land phone was declined.
It can be seen that in
2001,people spend only $ 200 on mobile phone , then, its rate increased to 300,followed by slight decline in
2003.However,there was a dramatic changes happened in the expenditure on cell
phone throughout the years, and reached to 750 in 2010.
On the
other hand,consumers spent large amount
of money ( $ 700 )on residential phone
services in 2001, then, its popularity dropped in the following years,and finally
reached to 450 in 2010. Interestingly,US people spent same amount of money (550) on both mobile
phone and landline services in 2006.
