Although the incredible growth has happened in the health field, there are huge numbers of people who face serious problems such as fatal diseases, obesity and so on. This essay will explain the causes and after effects of these unexpected state of affairs.

First of all, in this fast-paced world, people rely more on fast foods because of the conveniences. That would be a major cause for getting many serious diseases in people’s life. For instance, in order to enhance the taste of foods, companies would add more artificial chemicals. Besides, these foods are cheap and easily available in the market and that might be another reason for the popularity of fast foods. Obviously, people get many serious diseases like obesity, cancer when they consume large amount of fast foods. Apart from that, nowadays, advancements in the technologies influence people to spend a lot of time with electronic gadgets. Consequently, the occurrence of obesity and emergencies like accidents are increasing everyday even though there are enormous facilities available these days.

It is well known to all that, in this modern world, these unexpected state of events cause many adverse effects in the society. Firstly, it would be strain on country’s economy to find out the solution to overcome these problems. To cite an example, governments need to establish more hospitals and other facilities to treat fatal diseases and emergencies. Furthermore, people become less confident of health departments. This would have many detrimental effects on future life also.


From the above mentioned points, it can be concluded that, even though   people have enormous health facilities, the numbers of  occurrence of serious diseases are raising every day. Therefore, people and government should be cautious and accountable in order to build a healthy population ahead.
