If nuclear parents are able to foster gender parity inside the family from the early ages of their children's childhood, gender discrimination and violence against the opposite gender can be eradicated in the long run.
To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion?
Gender bias and aggression against the weaker gender are as old as human
life, and eradicating these calls for great efforts. However, since charity begins
at home, nuclear parents can facilitate gender assimilation to an extent in the
long run. Complete removal of these evils a pipedream.
It is a known fact that as the father so is the son, and as is the
mother so is the daughter. This holds true when it comes gender respect and aggression
against women and children. When husbands bully their wives, brothers bully
their sisters. This is what we call gender discrimination and the end result is
but aggression against the weaker.
In this respect, it is right to say, the seeds of these evils get sown
in the minds of children in the family ambience. Naturally, if nuclear parents
can make amends in the way they look at themselves, obviously, there will be
visible changes in the days to come. However, the world cannot envisage a world
order where both the genders go good all the time. The difference is so deeply
ingrained.
A thing, let me show, that has been in the psyche of a populace for millennia
cannot be removed either by mere parental intervention or external forces. This
is something that has to happen from within, and the extent of that happening
will not be that visible how even harder the humanity might try. Therefore,
complete eradication of gender rift and aggression are next to impossible.
My conclusion is, to a great extent, new generation parents can instill
the idea of living life with mutual gender respect, and some children may be
able to mend their ways. But it is too difficult to expect that they can remove
these evils fully on a fine morning.
