Generally, long haul
travelers are always apprehensive of the place they are going to visit.
Some people are of the view that such apprehensions
are much higher in number today than
it was; while others say that it is the other way around.
· Discuss both the views and say what you feel
of the second view?
These days many people are of the opinion that
people are more concerned about their long distance journeys than they used to (more
than, not more compared to) . Many, however,
disagree with this point. Let me
discuss these views and state what I feel of the latter view.
It is true to say that people are always worrying
about the place where they are going to visit. Its severity is higher in the
case of long journeys. As compared to the past, this apprehension is much
lesser these days. It is mainly because
of the advancements in the field of technology. Nowadays, sophisticated
communication systems allow people
to contact the world around them in seconds. So, they can plan and arrange
everything according to their needs. For example, people can book their hotel,
arrange guide, and contact their friends or relatives as soon as they reach
that place. This would definitely ease
their tension and make their journey more comfortable.
On the other hand, opponents may believe that
these tensions were higher in the past. In the bygone days, long travels
journey much fewer than today due to
lack of facilities. Even though people were interested, it was not possible due
to lack of development in the field of technology, transport and international
agreements. At that time, long journey was problematic. For instance, they did
not have many contacts or they had to
fall back on themselves until they came back. So, undoubtedly any one can
say that long travel was really stressful and fearful. No it is much easier.
From the above mentioned points, it can be
concluded that, today long haul travellers are experiencing relaxed and
stress-free journeys than it was in the past.
Biji, the first view
is: apprehensions are much greater today than it was. The second one is it is
much fewer today than it was. There could be past references, but it is not too
much about how it was like in the past. Rather, today, there are reasons for
great apprehensions, and at the same time, there are reasons for fewer
apprehensions, with reference to the past obviously.
Barring this slight slip and jumper order of the
answer, I would have rated this essay for clean seven, but What happened to the part of the question that what you feel of the
second opinion? What you have said is
--- what others say--- not what you say of the second view.
That task failure will cost you dearly, and
score will be 6 unless the graph answer is so strong
