Some people believe that the new age travelers who happen to be in different geographies for education, tourism, business and the alike do not need to be as apprehensive as those (travelers)  of the olden times.

Travellers have always had some apprehensions whenever they have switched places for different purposes. Naturally, travellers these days too have to face a few. However, there is great substance in the view that these challenges are much fewer. 38. words

In an all encompassing world order where governments stand prepared to depend on each other for almost all matters, it is a policy for them to ensure that international travelers are comfortable when they are in their soil.  (pretty long sentence)  Actually, this is a balancing act or a win-win equation for both. For example, when people of the western countries visit India for whatever purposes, we make sure that they are not apprehensive of the place because great many Indians are in the western hemisphere where they have to be much less apprehensive as well. In addition to this, travel and tourism, hospitality and allied businesses (vocab) are banking greatly on international traveler and they are ready to travel the extra mile to make things ship-shape for travelers. Let it be site seeing, accommodation, finding guides, domestic travel, clearing formalities or anything of that sort are being taken very good care of, obviously for a price. Above all, the transparency the world enjoys through information explosion keeps people informed of how or what a place is going to be like when they land in there. Sure, there are not many surprising apprehensions. ( closing)

Considering the above state of affairs seen almost everywhere, those who are on the move across borders can experience greater comfort levels these days than those of the past had had. The general apprehensions on strange places are there for all, and will be there for all the ages to come.
