Hunger in this resource-rich world. why, how to remove it

The world has enough resources to eliminate hunger. Still, millions of people of different parts of the world go to bed hungry.

·         Why is this sorry state of affairs?
·         How can we make the world hunger-free?

It is an undeniable fact that the world is rich enough to keep the whole population fed decently. This condition notwithstanding, people in huge numbers go hungry all over the world. There must be obvious reasons for this, and there are ways to keep the world off hunger.

The primary reason for hunger in this resource-rich world is the uneven distribution of population. For example, demographic findings show that nearly 57 percent of the global population is housed in Asia where, naturally, hunger is common. Besides this, the global resources are divided unequally between poor and rich regions. To be precise, 60 percent of the resources is wielded by the rich European countries and the Americas, and the remaining is left for the rest of the world. No wonder, there is hunger. To cap it all, the rich-poor divided that exists between people of the same population also is able to keep many people hungry.

Anyway, there are ways to see that the wolf is kept at bay. The first way-out is to give quality education for all; so that the educated will find jobs and they will be able to afford three times meal a day. Apart from this, there should be concerted efforts to keep population from exploding further. Along with this, densely populated nation may resort to scientific farming practices so as to meet the rising food needs of the population. The rich nations can share their technology and surplus supplies to other parts of the world.

To put it briefly, hunger in this rich world may have different reasons regionally speaking, but the remedial measures to eradicate it from the face of it are of greater significance wherever there is hunger.
